Crowd ·Single

In the series of “Crowd ·Single” lacquer art serves not only as a medium but also as a metaphor for life. In this series, I connect the movement of groups of figures and repetitive actions with the intricate texture of lacquer art. The lacquer not only shapes forms but also vividly represents the flow of life energy. The repetitive craft processes enhance the depth of the work and symbolize the eternal cycle and renewal of life, allowing viewers to feel the vitality and timelessness embedded within the pieces.

JUMP

The JUMP series is Inspired by the dynamics of gathering and dispersing crowds, this series explores the tension between individuality and collectivity. The two wall installations capture shifting moments of cohesion and separation, using lacquer as the primary medium to evoke Eastern cultural sensibilities and the vitality of human life. Technically, the works integrate laser-cut fabrication, digital and acrylic materials, and MDF collage experiments, extending traditional lacquer craft into contemporary spatial expressions.
