Big Shot

This series humorously portrays everyday individuals as symbolic, cartoon-like figures drawn from personal acquaintances and media personas. Through exaggerated forms and gestures, the works capture the spirit of our time and invite reflection on human nature and social rhythm.

Technically, the project combines laser cutting, 3D modeling, and mixed fabrication techniques, merging digital precision with handcrafted artistry to create a distinct visual language.

“The ‘Grid World’ series is a manifestation of my unique exploration and deep affection for the art of grid patterns. In this series, the grid is no longer a simple design, but rather a unique perspective for deconstructing objects and examining the world. Grid patterns can be the accumulation of pixels, the assembly of mosaics, or the interweaving of stripes, collectively forming a world brimming with infinite possibilities.

In this series of works, I treat the grid pattern as a fundamental element, deconstructing, reassembling, and innovating it to reveal the diversity and unity of all things in the world. The grid has become a vehicle for my observation of the world, expression of emotions, and conveyance of thoughts. Here, the grid is no longer monotonous repetition but a vibrant symbol of art.”
